Sage Smudge Stick

Beautiful California sage, sun-dried and ready for ceremony and cleansing. Also known as sacred sage, is a perennial native to the Southwestern United States. This potent herb has been used for centuries by Native Americans in rituals of cleansing and healing. Its all around sweet natural aroma is very calming and healing. 

Sage smudging is one of the purest and ancient techniques of cleansing and protecting a person or space. Sacred to many ancient & indigenous cultures, smudging has transcended time. It’s a simple way to banish away negative, old energy and to introduce positive energy utilizing one of Earth’s greatest herbs. Used to purify and protect mind and body.

To use, light the pointed end of the stick. Once ignited, blow gently on the ember to produce a good amount of smoke. Walk around with the stick allowing the smoke to connect with the area. When done extinguish the stick and place it somewhere special, like in one of our Abalone Shells or Smudge Bowl, to be used again and again.   Use as often as you like to keep the positive energy flowing.
