This Beatles song lyric rings very true for me and my business. Sure I get lonely some times working from home alone, but then I remember all the wonderful friends I have that are willing to help at a moments notice.

Over the years I have had the honor of working with several amazing women who have offered their time to help me model the clothing I sell. When I get a new item in the shop, I like to showcase it on 'real' people and this is where my 'real' friends come into play.

For my out of state friends, I ship them items and they do photo shoots for me on their own time.

My local friends and I get together a couple of times a year and we do our own photo shoots. Everything is done either outdoors or in someones living room...no fancy equipment or professional folks. Just a group of Moms, some mimosas, groovy music, and a few kids running around. My customers love seeing my clothing on real women and it really does help them to figure out what items are going to work best for them.

Not only have my friends helped me tremendously with my business, but they are also around any time I need to get out of the house and socialize! After working at home all day with no adults to talk to, I know I can call up any of my friends and they will meet me for a drink, a hike, or a quick work out at the gym.

I am truly a blessed gal to have so many people in my life who support me, encourage me, and just simply make me laugh. Some days I may feel like I'm in this alone, but the truth is I have a team of folks working all around me to help make Hip Mountain Mama a success! Thank you! :)
