Suzy’s dream of owning and operating a green and natural business came to fruition in 2008 when she opened Hip Mountain Mama. She had always been passionate about natural products and after the birth of her children she became obsessed with organics, sustainable materials, and raising her children in a natural and loving environment. Suzy built the business with a focus on the things that are important to her and the website reflects her hip and natural style.

In November 2009 Suzy’s husband, Andy, left his corporate job to make Hip Mountain Mama a true family business.

Being a family operated small business allows Hip Mountain Mama to focus on superior customer service and gives us the ability to adapt and grow in a conscious manner.

Our Mission is to promote a healthy way of living that includes easing our environmental impact, supporting other small businesses, and educating others. We are accomplishing this by using wind power, recycling shipping supplies, and donating time and money to local environmental projects. We also support many small businesses including stay at home moms by promoting and selling their products in our store. We are educating others about conscious living through our blog, newsletter, and twitter account.

Hip Mountain Mama is more than just another online retail store, we are a family working together to give you a unique shopping experience and we are having a blast doing it. Thank you for checking us out and for making it possible for us to do something we truly believe in.

Please feel free to connect with us through our Blog, Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, or email. We love to hear suggestions, comments, feedback, or to just meet like-minded people.
