Double Decker Echinacea Necklace

This pendant, approximately 1X1.5", is double-decker echinacea or North American coneflower, known for its antibiotic and wound-healing properties. It has a very dark, neutral greenish black base color from which the image pops out. It is treated with a satin polyurethane finish which gives it a subtle but not shiny appearance. The pendant hangs on a sheer, medium length olive green ribbon with silver-toned findings and a lobster clasp. It is semi-adjustable (to about 1-1.5"). It reads well from farther away and has a nice, almost dramatic, elegant effect, but can also be worn with casual clothes. This piece is made by local Colorado artist, Hannah Slattery-Quintanilla.
